Six Life Lessons You Will Learn From ‘Mary Kom’
1. ‘Fight Like A Girl’ Is The Way To Go!
In a fight of strength and muscle, the weaker fighters have conventionally been told that they
‘fight like a girl’. The reference is to a popular belief that women cannot put up a tough fight
because they are weak. ‘Mary Kom ’ shuts down such arguments with an unarguably firm
conviction.
2. Strong Women Can Be Stunning Too!
It may be hard to believe that the hardcore woman, who rules every fight she gets into, can
also make your heat skip a beat with her beauty, but ‘Mary Kom ’ can help you believe it. The
woman drills fear into hearts of the viewers while she’s fighting in the ring. Yet somehow,
‘Mary Kom ’ as a white veiled bride is sure to make your heart skip a beat.
3. You Haven’t Lost Till You Quit Trying
The film’s music itself is enough to make you pick yourself up after a fall and push harder than
you did before. One of the greatest life lessons we learn from ‘Mary Kom ’ is that winning isn’t
just about scoring the most points; it is also about getting up and going on
4. #BeingWoman Redefined!
Indian women battle stereotypes on a daily basis. It is said that women can only rise up to the
limiting glass ceiling, and sadly, most women find it difficult to break through. But that hasn’t
discouraged ‘Mary Kom ’ from making a mark in a male dominated field. ‘Mary Kom ’ breaks
barriers on many levels.
5. Obstacles Cannot Stop The Determine
Fighting off social norms is no easy task, and Mary has emerged through multiple restrictive
social norms as well as disfavouring political conditions. Her story only proves that no
obstacle can hinder uncompromising determination
6. Perseverance Always Pays Off
Among the reasons behind ‘Mary Kom ’s incredible achievement is the fact that she gave it
everything she had. We’ve seen times when Mary is pulled down by situations and
commitments, but then she rises above it all. ‘Mary Kom ’ trained and brought back every last
ounce of the spirit and physique she had as a world champion, only to immortalize her name
in the books of history.
‘Mary Kom ’, the film is about the Indian Boxer and Olympic Bronze medallist MC Mary Kom.
Depicting her life, struggles, family and her perseverance to be the best – Priyanka Chopra
stars as Mary Kom along with Darshan Kumaar, Sunil Thapa, Shishir Sharma and American
actor Zachary Coffin. Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Mary Kom ’ is produced by Viacom18 Motion
Pictures & Sanjay Leela Bhansali . The film is scheduled for release on September 5, 2014.
Aamir’s PK Trends On Amul’s Creativity

Amul has already come out a communication on the film.
Amul as a brand is very creative and is known for their print ads since decades. Their creative
depicts current affairs, be it politics, sports, judiciary or Bollywood. However, what’s interesting here is that usually Amul incorporates their communication with
topical films post the release. But this time Amul has taken out a communication on PK post
the launch of the 1st poster itself.

‘The Hobbit’ Fame Stunt Director Roped In For Hrithik’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’
Hollywood stunt sequences are always top notch and thus Bollywood has now hopped on to
roping in International stunt directors for their films. To pull off action sequences of high
magnitude, majority of film makers today hire International stunt directors.
While recently Andy Armstrong of The Amazing Spiderman fame was roped in to design the
action sequences for Hrithik Roshan ’s upcoming film Bang Bang, now the stunt director of
‘The Hobbit‘ Glenn Boswell, will be working on the actor’s next Mohenjo Daro. The stunt director who recently wrapped up working on the popular Hobbit series has been
pulled in by director Ashutosh Gowarikar for his period drama. Boswell has designed the
action sequences for epic action drama’s such as Matrix and subsequently of Wolverine and
Hobbit and it would certainly be exciting to see him work for this film.
Even though the film is a love story based in the Indus Valley civilization, the script consists
of some grave action sequences that impressed Boswell and thus he agreed to work on the
project.

Teekhi teekhi adaa se teri
Chatakne lage, atakane lage iraade mere
Lehki lehki laton se teri
Ulajhane lage, sulajhane lage
hain waade mere (x2)
Dariyaa na sahi tu chaahat ka
De de na mujhe bas ik qatra
Tinka-tinka mere dil ka
Karta hai tujhse duaa..
Meri mannat tu, tujhko hai tujhse maanga
Meri mannat tu, tujhko hai Maula maana (x2)
Meri mannat tu..
Meri mannat tu..
Meri mannat tu...
(Keerthi Sagathia)
Ahaa ahaa ahaa ahaa
Jhatak jhatak zulfon ki gujariya
(gujariya.. gujariya.. )
Jhatak jhatak zulfon ki gujariya
Maare re maare re phatkaare
Jhat jhatak matak naino se bijuriya
Maare re maare re jhatkaare
(jhatkaare jhatkaare)
(Shreya Ghoshal)
Ghan ghan ghanghor ghata mera joban
Ang ang angaara!
Lapton se lipat jaana meri
Har rang ke rasiya ko hai pyara
Haan.. jal-jal tap-tap bas aanch nahi
Mere boond-boond thandai
Jhar-jhar bhar-bhar gaagar mein saagar
Chhanak-chhan chhanan-chhan preet barsaai..
(Sonu Nigam)
Tu hai thumri, daadra main
Raag main, tu raagni hai
Sur se mere sur mila le, gaaye jahaan
Kaala gora, har rang mora
Kaala gora, har rang mora
Karta hai tujhse duaa
Mari manat tu.. meri manat tu
Mari manat tu.. meri manat tu
Aankhon mein laakhon ishaare tere
Palkon mein aaja chhupa loon mere
Apni nazar ka main tika karoon
Sabki nazar se bachaa loon tujhe
Chhup chhup ke chanda jo taade tujhe
Mud-mud ke taare jo taake tujhe
Cheer ke raaton ki aawaargi
Til til jalaa doon main aage tere
Meri mannat tu, tujhko hai tujhse maanga
Meri mannat tu, tujhko hai Maula maana
Meri mannat tu, tujhko hai tujhse maanga
Meri mannat tu, tujhko hai Maula maana
Meri manat tu, meri mannat tu
